トルコ料理といえばケバブ！渋谷の「サライ」でドネルケバブを食らう！
三軒茶屋のカフェなら「マメヒコ」のコーヒーでまったりと
キャピトル東急内にある星ヶ岡。あの食通の北大路魯山人の星ヶ岡茶寮のあった跡地に作ったので名前のみ残して中華料理に衣替えしたレストランで、旧キャピタル東急時代の星が岡へは何回か訪れたが、新生キャピタル東急になってからは始めての訪問である。
溜池山王駅に直結し、モダンで便利なホテルになった。シンプルで清潔感あふれるなかにも明るくかつ高級感をかもし出しているのはさすがである。
店内のインテリアは都会的なモダンチャイニーズスタイルのデザイン。伝統的な中国式造形のエレメントをスクリーン、床タイルのパターン、ペンダントライトなどに アクセントとして散りばめました。また中国人現代新鋭作家のPan Wel氏の軽快な書をアートワークとして随所に設置し、モダンなタイポグラフィの世界を形成しています。 店内は落ち着きと重厚感を表現しつつ、赤松の並ぶ庭園の眺めは開放感に溢れ、都心にいながら和らぎを感じられます。

料理の味は、いずれも濃厚でしっかりしたものですが、くどくありません。食べ終わってからも胃もたれしませんでした。どれも上品でおいしかった。
反面、お店の人は、人数が足りていないのか、サービスの面で対応がやや遅い感じがしました。女性の店員はきりっとしていて美人ばかりでしたが、肝心のサービスになると今一で、ホールで見てくれている人が一人もいなくなる時間が結構多く、注文やお願いをしようとしたときにだれもいない、ということがありました。ホテルのメインダイニングなのでここが改善されると、いい中華になるのでしょう。
