レストランで食事というより、行事ごとで1会場を借りて立食パーティ。
上野公園の中心に位置するので、満開の桜並木をくぐってたどり着きました。少し高台にあることもあり、高い天井に壁一面の窓からは桜も不忍池も一望でした。
建物入り口から内装自体は、一番イメージに近いのが「昭和の洋風結婚式場」な感じです。テーブルやイス、調度品など丁寧に使われてきた印象があります。
お料理はビュッフェだったので、彩り鮮やかでおいしくいただきました。寿司だけはパサパサでしたけど、建物内に和食レストランが無いので、やむを得ずなのかな？
精養軒オリジナルの焼き菓子も出しているみたいです。お土産でいただきました。
